Indian Coast Guard Navik Salary 2024
For Navik (General Duty):
Basic pay is 21,700 at Level 3.
DA and other allowances as per the nature of duty and place of posting as per rules.
For Yantrik:
Basic pay is 29,200 at Level 5.
Yantrik pay is 6,200 extra.

Below are the eligibility criteria for Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik in Indian Coast Guard:
Educational Qualification
Candidate must be 10th pass with Mathematics and Physics from a recognized education board.
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering from an AICTE approved institution.
Age Limit
Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik candidates should be between 18 to 22 years old.
Born between 01 March 2003 to 28 February 2007 to meet the eligibility criteria.
India Coast Guard Navik Selection Process 2024
The entire Indian Coast Guard selection procedure consists of four stages, first being the computer-Based Examination meant to assess whether candidates have acquired sufficient knowledge related to the applied position. It would be followed by Stage II with Qualifying Examinations, including an Assessment and Adaptability Test via OMR sheets, a Physical Fitness Test, detailed verification of documents, a recruitment medical examination, and so on. Stage III is related to the preparation of the final merit list based on Stage I performance and available vacancies. Stage IV will include training at INS Chilka, submitting original documents for final verification, and enrollment subject to the authentication of all the documents by respective authorities.

Those passing 10th are eligible to apply for Yantrik, and those passing 12th with PCM can apply for Navik GD.
