Educational Qualification
RRC Western Railway 2024 Educational Qualification seeks candidates who have passed their 10th standard or an equivalent standard from a recognized board and have an ITI certificate in a relevant trade. Thus, the requirement of both these qualifications would make sure that the apprentices selected will have apt theoretical knowledge with proper practical skills to handle the appointments. The ITI certificate is also a critical part since it indicates that the applicant is qualified in a specific trade, for instance, electrician, fitter, machinist, or welder.
The recruitment of RRC Western Railway also occurs for Level 2 and Level 1 posts against Scouts and Guides Quota for the year 2024-25, besides the 10th pass and ITI requirement. Applicant must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent with 50% aggregate marks for Level 2 posts. For Level 1, he/she should pass from the 10th with ITI or equivalent qualification and hold NAC issued by National Council for Vocational Training.

Salary
Level 2 Positions: Salary package: Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200.
Therefore, such scales of remuneration reflect the highest grade of pay assigned by the latest pay commission and are meant to keep wages paid to railway personnel more or less at par. The remuneration for apprentices is differentiated. Apprentices during their trainee period receive stipend varying based on year of service. An apprentice during the first year draws a stipend amounting to approximately Rs. 9,100; that amount may increase following years. The annual salary for an apprentice may range from Rs. 64,200 to Rs. 242,200 based on progression and allowances.

Selection Process
Step 1: Written Examination
