The government of India is looking to hire Hindi translators through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). And they released the SSC JHT Recruitment 2024 notification for the same. SSC JHT Recruitment 2024:

Interested candidates for the JHT, JT or SHT role under the Govt. of India can apply for this post. The notification will be available on the official Staff Selection Commission (SSC) website from 23 July 2024 to 21 August 2024 with the exam in Oct-Nov 2024.

SSC JHT Notification 2024: Vacancies & Eligibility

The SSC has posted several vacancies summing up to approximately 500 vacancies. In 2023, based on the category the vacancies were divided as follows:

The total came to 307 vacancies. This year, the SSC has announced approximate vacancies of 500 including all the categories.

There are some eligibility criteria for the position of JHT, JT or SHT as given below:

Educational Qualification:

1. For the role of Junior translator, the candidate must hold a master’s degree in Hindi or English with a translation diploma or should have 2 years of translation experience.
2. For the role of Hindi translator, the candidate must hold a master’s degree in Hindi or English with a translation diploma or should have 3 years of translation experience.
3. The candidate must keep an eye on the official SSC website for the advertisement of the official notification.

SSC-JHT 2024 Notification: Application Fee

The application fee for a candidate belonging to the General or OBC category is Rs. 100/- . Whereas, a candidate belonging to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen or a person with a disability will not need to pay any fee.

SSC-JHT 2024: Exam Date

The exam date for the position of JHT, JT or SHT will be announced officially by the SSC on their official website from October to November 2024. All interested candidates must keep a watch on the official website for the notification release date.

2. Next, click on notices and you will be redirected to a new page.
3. In the new page select the icon reading JHT and all the notices will be displayed on the screen.
4. After reading the notification carefully. Go back to the main page of the SSC website and register yourself as a new user.
5. Once you are registered, log in with your ID and password, and then upload all the needed information like photographs, and signatures and all the required documents.
6. After this step, you should make the fee payment and submit the application form online.
