TNPSC is recruiting for various roles such as Deputy collector, deputy superintendent of police etc. A TNPSC Group-1 Recruitment 2024 notification has been posted on the official website mentioning around 90 vacancies for various roles. TNPSC Group-1 Recruitment 2024: Important Dates
- Interested candidates can submit their applications online which is starting from March 28, 2024
- The last date for the application is April 27th, 2024
- Candidates will be allowed to correct the mistakes in their application from May 2nd to May 5, 2024.
- The preliminary examination is scheduled for the 13th of July, 2024
TNPSC Group-1 Notification 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must give importance to all these points before applying for the roles.
- The primary requirement is that the applicant should be an Indian citizen.
- The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Candidates are required to be a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 35 years as per the exam date. Albeit some relaxation is offered for certain categories.

TNPSC Group-1 Notification 2024: Age Limit
The minimum age for all posts is 21 and the maximum limit for all posts is 34 except for the post of Assistant Commissioner for candidates who possess a B.L. degree, for such candidates the maximum age limit is 35.

TNPSC Group-1 2024 Pay scale
The pay scale for all roles is that of Level 22.

- Aadhaar card and its photocopy
- Latest taken photograph
- Signature
- Educational certificates and marks sheets
- Non- employment certificate
- Community certificate
- Disability Certificate (if applicable)
- No Objection Certificate from the previous/ current employer
TNPSC Group-1 Notification 2024: How to Apply Online?
- First, visit the official website at tnpsc.gov.in.
- Then complete a one-time registration if you do not have a registration ID then you can register as a new user of the portal.
- After filling out the registration form, pay the one-time registration fee of Rs.150/-
- After the payment is done, log in with your registration ID, find the notification of TNPSC Group-1 Recruitment and fill out the application form.
- After completion of the application form, verify the information and submit the form.
- Scan and upload all the needed documents like ID cards, certificates, marks cards etc.
- Next, the application fee has to be paid online. The application fee will vary based on the applicant’s category. Only the reserved category candidates are exempt from the application fee.
- Once the submission is completed, download the application and print the form for your reference.
